A small organisation doing specific things well.
Bloom Global Health is a volunteer-led Canadian non-profit based in Timmins, Ontario. We work with local organisations abroad, starting in West Africa, in the two fields our team practises: psychotherapy, and information technology and engineering.
Mental-health care that understands disability and neurodivergence is almost always missing where it is needed most. Alongside it, we introduce technology only where it genuinely helps: simple, information-dense devices that replace the need for books and can be repaired and maintained locally. Our focus is abroad, with partners in West Africa who tell us what is actually needed. We are based in Timmins, and may bring some of this work home in future.
We are deliberately narrow. We do not run projects we cannot staff, and we do not arrive with a plan written elsewhere. Every program is delivered with a local organisation, designed to keep running after we step back, and reported on publicly, including what did not work.

Questions about how we operate?
Ask the board directly, we answer governance and finance questions in full.
